District HQ: August Working Party

The renovation of the Maidstone West District HQ started today. With the amount of willing volunteers from around the district, we managed to get walls cleaned, skirting and door frames sanded, outside walls painted grey and first coat of white and blue inside the hall done. 

Not to mention the outside grounds work of removing ivy, cutting and strimming of the grass, and clearing the gutters.

Thank you to all adult volunteers, parents, scouts from Oakwood Scout Group, explorers from Wanderers ESU and members of Maidstone West Network who attend the working party. Without your help, not nearly as much would have been finished this quickly.
