Yalding AGM & Kit Demonstration

On Wednesday 17th July, Yalding Scout Group held their AGM, welcoming parents, leaders, and supporters for an evening of reflection, celebration, and outdoor adventure.

The event highlighted the achievements of the past year and looked ahead to exciting new plans for the group. A major feature of the evening was a paddleboarding demonstration on the River Medway, where the Scouts proudly showed off their skills using the recently acquired paddleboards.

These paddleboards were made possible thanks to a generous £2,000 grant from The Yalding Education Foundation, whose support has opened the door to even more adventurous water-based activities for the young people of the group. A huge thank you goes to the Foundation for their ongoing investment in local youth development.

The Group Lead Volunteer, Dee, and the rest of the group leaders extended heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the AGM. With such strong community support and a growing programme of activities, Yalding Scout Group is set for another great year ahead.
