Loose Swiss - Christmas Carol Service!
16th December 2024
Tonight, Loose Swiss Scout Group held their annual Group Christmas Carol Service at All Saints' Church in Loose, a tradition that has been a highlight of the festive season for many years. The event was attended by members, their families, and the local community, all coming together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas in a heartwarming and meaningful way.
The service featured a series of readings by members from Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts, with each group contributing to the evening's reflections on the Christmas period. The young scouts shared their voices in a series of well-loved carols, bringing a sense of unity and joy to all in attendance. Their readings and performances were a testament to the dedication and enthusiasm of the group’s leaders and members.
In addition to the festive music and readings, the evening included a special presentation of awards, recognising the hard work and achievements of the scouts over the past year. These awards celebrated the scouts' growth and development, with leaders acknowledging individual and group accomplishments. The service was a wonderful occasion for Loose Swiss Scout Group, highlighting both the festive spirit and the strong sense of community that has been nurtured through this long-standing tradition.
