Remembrance Parade 2023

Today, Scouts from across Maidstone West gathered together to pay their respects and honour those who serve to defend our freedoms and support our communities.

Scouts from Oakwood Scout Group, Tovil Scout Group, Wanderers ESU, and Xavier ESU took part in the parade.

The parade started on Maidstone High Street and stopped for a memorial service, where a two-minute silence took place at 11.00am at the Memorial in The Broadway, followed by the laying of wreaths by leading members of the community, including the District Lead Volunteer representing Maidstone West Scouts.
