Back From Their Peruvian Adventure!

After an unforgettable adventure, members from Maidstone West Network have returned from their once-in-a-lifetime trip to Peru. The group explored the vibrant capital, Lima where they tried local cuisine, before heading to Cusco. They hiked the legendary Inca Trail, passing through breath-taking mountain scenery and ancient ruins before reaching the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu.

Their journey continued as they trekked into the Amazon rainforest, where they stayed in jungle lodges and learned about local indigenous communities along the Madre de Dios River. They explored city landmarks, visited the Sacsayhuamán ruins, and some hiked the Rainbow Mountain.

They took part in a community visit in the Sacred Valley offering a chance to give back. From trekking in the Andes to discovering the Amazon’s biodiversity, the group returned with lasting memories, new friendships, and a deeper understanding of Peru’s incredible culture.
